Alicia was born in San Francisco, CA. She trained in ballet, jazz, and tap at Susan Hayward School of Dance and later Charlotte School of Ballet and Piedmont School of Music and Dance in Charlotte, NC. Alicia graduated with honors from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in 2012 while concurrently dancing with Hubbard Street 2. She joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago as a main company dancer in 2014.
From 2016-2017, Alicia joined the team at JUNTOS Collective, a non-profit dance outreach organization, as the Local Director. She oversaw and coordinated multiple outreach events with BFA students in Boston, New York, and the Bay Area. She continues her work with JUNTOS as a volunteer based in Chicago.
Alicia also served as Artistic Coordinator for the 2017 Advance Level Hubbard Street Summer Intensive, a 4-week summer dance program for dancers aged 14-18 held at Columbia College in Chicago. She has been part of the summer intensive faculty since 2015.
